Initiation Tarot is an exploration of the inner transformation required to embody the archetypes of the Tarot.

Rather than approaching the Major Arcana simply as tools for divination, this deck delves into the inner work required to embody each archetype and cultivate the inner authority that comes with it. Each card explores a state of transformation: a threshold to cross, an aspect of the self to integrate, or a deeper understanding to realise through lived experience.

The book and cards are being written and illustrated as Mars follows her own initiatory journey. By listening deeply to both the inner landscape of the psyche and the living world beyond it, she draws on symbolism, metaphor and spiritual transmission to inform each piece.

The Minor Arcana takes an entirely new form, replacing the traditional numbered cards with the Ogham trees. In bringing together the wisdom of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and the arcane knowledge held within nature's story, the deck offers a new way of exploring the relationship between the human journey and the living world.

Initiation Tarot is an invitation to move beyond interpreting the cards and towards living their wisdom — discovering, through the process of initiation, the inner authority each archetype makes possible.
